Megan Bruce announced today that she will join Tag Heuer and Campos Racing for the 2026 F1 Academy campaign.
The 21-year-old Brit narrowly missed out on the GB4 prize fund awarded to the top female driver, finishing just seven points behind Ava Dobson in the standings.
Nevertheless, Bruce has secured a full-time F1 Academy seat and confirmed her 2026 plans via social media.
Her racing career began in the Caterham Academy Championship in 2023, before stepping up to GB4 the following year with Fox Motorsport, where she quickly established herself as a front-running female contender.
Bruce has already had a taste of F1 Academy machinery, stepping in for Hitech TGR at the Singapore round to replace the injured Aiva Anagnostiadis. Two weeks earlier, she had taken part in the series’ rookie test at Circuito de Navarra, which provided valuable preparation ahead of her stand-in appearance.
Later in the year, she expanded her experience further by contesting selected rounds of the F4 Saudi Arabian Championship, securing a best finish of seventh in Jeddah and ending the campaign 15th overall with 13 points.

After showing consistent pace and progression throughout her junior career so far, Bruce will be one to watch as she embarks on her first full F1 Academy season in 2026.
