After competing in the final two rounds of the season last year, Max Hall has announced a full season campaign for this year with the new Hall’s Racing team.
After his departure from the British Touring Car championship mid-season, the young British driver found pace and competitiveness in the ever growing TCR UK series.
After emerging as a front-runner following just a few races in the championship, there is no surprise that the teenager will be eyeing a title challenge this season.
He will also swap the Lynk & Co 03 TCR which he raced last season, for a new Honda Civic Type R FL5, with the team set to announce a second driver in due course.
Hall, who turns 19 today, has also announced that he will be joining the JAS Motorsport Development programme.
He said in the announcement:
““I’m delighted to announce that I’ll be racing in TCR UK for the 2026 season, with the aim of securing the Drivers’ Title. I’ll be driving for the new Hall’s Racing team, which brings over two decades of motorsport experience. Whilst they may be new to TCR, they know their stuff, which means that we’ll be able to hit the ground running at the start of the season.”
“Working as a JAS Motorsport Development driver is a fantastic opportunity for me, and I’m ready to work hard as we take on each weekend throughout the season. The Honda Civic is a new car to me; however, we have a testing programme in place that will help me get up to speed quickly.”
The 2026 TCR UK season will begin over the Easter weekend at Brands Hatch on April 4th & 5th.
