NAPA Racing UK have revealed a huge change to their cars for the 2026 British Touring Car Championship season. During their livery reveal, the team broke the news that they would be switching from the original Ford Focus to the newer Saloon model.

The team has been using the Focus since 2022. But, the new homologation requirements in 2027 required them to switch their machinery. This is because Ford stopped production of the Focus in the UK back in November last year meaning the car would no longer be eligible for homologation.

Aesthetically, the rear of the car has seen the most change. The front of the car remains very similar to its predecessor. However, the rear is now more streamlined which will aid aerodynamic performance.

NAPA’s new challenger will be piloted by four time champion Ash Sutton. Dan Cammish will be behind the wheel of the NAPA Racing Saloon Focus. He has expressed over the winter that “the number one spot has eluded me for too long now”. Sam Osbourne picked up his first career BTCC victory last year and will continue with the team in 2026. Newcomer to the championship Lewis Selby rounds out NAPA’s lineup.

The livery itself remains mostly unchanged from the familiar yellow and blue NAPA autoparts colour scheme.

Pete Osbourne, the Alliance Team Owner has said that: “We’ve had a very busy winter with the team behind the scenes working relentlessly on reworking the Focus into a virtually new car.”

We will see the new NAPA machines out on track for the first time at the official shakedowns at Croft and Brands Hatch
