F1 Academy returns this weekend alongside the Chinese Grand Prix, with British driver Alisha Palmowski taking the first pole position of the season earlier today.
The 2024 GB4 Championship vice-champion delivered a strong qualifying performance to edge out the rest of the grid and claim top spot in her Red Bull-liveried Campos Racing car.

Palmowski set a time of 2:04.182, around four tenths quicker than the lap that put her top of the timesheets in FP1. She will line up ahead of Ferrari-backed Alba Larsen.
Fellow Brit Ella Lloyd qualified tenth as she prepares for her second season in F1 Academy. The Welsh-born racer competes for Rodin Motorsport and is backed by McLaren.
Race 1 gets underway tomorrow at 05:30 UK on Saturday.
