Innovation Racing have announced that they will make their British GT debut this season.

Holland and Simpson lead GT4 entry
Drivers Thomas Holland and Hadley Simpson will be behind the wheel of a Ginetta G56 GT4 Evo.
The team, owned and run by team principal James Griffiths, was officially established in 2024 and competed in the GT Cup last season.
Both Holland and Simpson bring the necessary experience to help take the team to the next level in its inaugural British GT campaign.
Holland has prior experience in British GT, having competed in the same model of car he will drive this season. He raced in the championship in 2023 and 2024, following spells in Ginetta GT Academy and the G40 Cup.
Simpson, meanwhile, graduates with the team after a dual Ginetta GT Championship and GT Cup campaign last season. He will be making his British GT4 debut.

What they said
Holland said: “I’m really excited to be returning to the British GT paddock this year, a paddock where I started my racing career back in 2020 in the GRDC Championship. I’ve gotten to know the G56 over my last two stints in British GT and believe that, along with the team, we will be able to get the most out of the car this year.
“Innovation is such a welcoming team and I’m looking forward to working with them in the year ahead and showing everyone how competitive we can be.
“For 2026, we race in aid of Cancer Research UK. I would like to thank my new financial partners Hoover, who will join previous partners Gnosis Executive and Brim Chargers, and I hope to make them proud this year by bringing home some strong results on and off the track.”
Simpson added: “I am incredibly excited to announce my step up to the British GT Championship with Innovation Racing alongside Thomas Holland.
“From competing in Innovation’s very first race to now signing for British GT is a huge moment for both myself and the team. I’m proud to continue being part of this journey and can’t thank James Griffiths and everyone at Innovation Racing enough for the opportunity.
“Thomas brings a huge amount of experience to the line-up and I’m looking forward to learning and progressing alongside my new team-mate.
“To be competing on one of the biggest stages in British motorsport means a lot, and I can’t wait to see the fans this season.”
Griffiths also said: “We are thrilled to announce the addition of Thomas and Hadley to our team as we begin our inaugural season in the British GT Championship, driving our newly acquired Ginetta G56 GT4 Evo.
“It fills me with immense pride to reflect on the remarkable journey the team has undertaken over the past year. Transitioning from 15 years of club-level racing to establishing ourselves as a professional race team has been a monumental achievement, and now we are poised to compete at the highest level of GT racing in the UK.
“I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported us in reaching this point. While I cannot name everyone individually, they know who they are and their contributions have been invaluable.
“As we prepare for the upcoming season, I am eager to see how we measure up against some of the finest GT racing teams in Europe, and I am confident that our hard work and dedication will shine through on track.”
The British GT Championship gets underway with its media day on March 31 at Silverstone.
