Power Maxed Racing have announced that Mikey Doble will be continuing with the team in 2026 for his fourth year in a row. He will be joined in the PMR squad by the Scottish duo of Aiden Moffat and Dexter Patterson.
The team confirmed Moffat earlier this week after the announcement that LKQ Euro Car Parts would support the team this season.
The 27 year old will be behind the wheel of a third different car in just two seasons. Power Maxed Racing of course suffered a devastating fire at their headquarters last year but the team have used the disaster as an opportunity to rebuild and grow. They will not only be running three cars this season but three brand new cars to the team. Doble, Moffat and Patterson will be contesting the 2026 season behind the wheel of the Audi S3 Saloon.
Doble secured his first British Touring Car Championship win in a disturbed 2025 season. Despite this, he was still able to battle for the Independent Drivers Championship but fell short of the Restart Racing duo of Dan Lloyd and Chris Smiley.
Power Maxed Racing with LKQ Euro Car Parts should be delighted with how they have rebounded from the tragedy of last year and the upwards trajectory the team are now on in 2026. They have signed themselves three reliable and experienced BTCC drivers for 2026 and look like they could definitely make a solid push for the independent titles this year. It might just be a question of how quick they can get a handle on their new machinery.

Mikey Doble said: “Last season showed the character of this team more than anything else. What happened off track would have broken most operations, but PMR responded with grit and determination. We know each other, and we know what we’re capable of. I’m more motivated than ever to reward that belief with the results we all know we can achieve.”
Adam Weaver said: “In this championship, stability is powerful. Heading into our fourth year together gives us a platform built on experience rather than promise. We’re proud of how we (Doble and PMR) have responded, but our focus is firmly on what comes next. I’ve always said if we can retain the right driver for five years we will challenge for championships in that time, I suppose it’s time to prove that.”
A big claim from Adam Weaver there. There is no secret that PMR will be a team to keep an eye on in 2026 with their exciting new lineup and the return of Audi to the championship.
