Century Motorsport is set to make a high-profile return to the GT3 ranks of the British GT Championship in 2026, confirming a Silver-Am entry built around a new-look driver pairing and the latest BMW machinery reports Jurek Biegus from GT REPORT.

The 2023 overall champions will field the BMW M4 GT3 Evo as part of an expanded programme that also includes a GT4 effort, signalling a renewed push across both classes as the team looks to reassert itself at the sharp end of Britain’s premier GT series.

Leading the GT3 charge will be Jonathon Beeson and Charles Clark, a combination that blends rapid recent progression with established GT success. The duo arrive with strong credentials and momentum, positioning Century as an immediate contender in the competitive Silver-Am category when the season begins at Silverstone in late April.

Beeson’s rise through the UK racing scene has been swift. Having only begun his circuit racing career in 2022, he has quickly built a reputation for consistency and front-running pace. Campaigns in the British Endurance Championship and TCR UK laid the groundwork before he transitioned into Porsche one-make competition, where he secured the Porsche Cayman Challenge Am title in 2024 and followed it up with the Porsche Carrera Cup Am crown in 2025. His graduation to GT3 marks a natural next step as he looks to translate that success into endurance racing’s top tier.

Clark, meanwhile, brings proven pedigree within both British GT and international GT competition. A former British GT4 Silver Cup champion, he has amassed race wins and podiums across multiple categories, while also gaining experience on the European stage, including appearances in the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa. His familiarity with GT3 machinery and ability to deliver results under pressure adds valuable experience to the line-up.

Together, the pairing forms a balanced and potentially formidable combination, with Century Motorsport confident it has the tools to challenge throughout the campaign. The team’s recent success in GT World Challenge competition further underlines its readiness to compete at the highest level, while its parallel GT4 entry ensures a strong presence across the grid.

Beeson is relishing the opportunity to step up to GT3 competition with an established outfit: “I’m really happy to be joining Century Motorsport in British GT this year and stepping up into GT3. After winning the Porsche Carrera Cup Am championship last season, it feels like a natural step and a great opportunity to keep building my confidence and experience. Nathan has put together a fantastic package for me, and having Charles alongside me is a big advantage, he’s a proven winner with a lot of experience. We’re really looking forward to getting started and working hard together.”

Team principal Nathan Freke emphasised the importance of the programme for both team and manufacturer, as Century returns to a category it previously conquered: “Returning to the British GT Championship is very important to Century Motorsport but also for BMW. Having won the British GT3 Championship in 2023 and our GT World Challenge success in 2025 we know what it takes to win. We have a great handle on the BMW M4 GT3 Evo and are excited to see what the season brings. Charles and Jonathon are both established winners in their own categories and will be a very strong pairing in the Silver-Am class where we are hoping to achieve great success together.”

Clark added that the opportunity marks a significant moment in his career as he prepares to rejoin the British GT grid: “A dream to be back on the British GT grid this year with Century Motorsport in the BMW M4 GT3 Evo, sharing the car with Jonathon Beeson in Silver-Am. Jonathon’s seriously quick, and I’m looking forward to pushing for a successful season together. Huge thanks to Jonathon, Nathan and everyone at Century for the opportunity. British GT is one of the toughest championships out there, racing at some of the best tracks in the world against top-level drivers. I can’t wait to get started at Media Day on March 31st.”
