This morning, NAPA Racing UK announced that Sam Osbourne would not be taking part at Thruxton for the fifth round of the British Touring Car Championship season.
It was confirmed by the team that Osbourne won’t be taking part due to illness.
This means that test and reserve driver Senna Proctor will step in for Osbourne over the weekend.
Proctor completed a half season in the championship last year. He also stepped in for Team Vertu at Thruxton and managed to claim a fourth place finish on his return.
Proctor is an incredibly quick and experienced BTCC talent and is stepping into one of the fastest cars on the grid this weekend. Expect to see Senna up towards the front of the field this weekend.
