The 28th edition of the historic Goodwood Revival takes place this weekend, and here is everything you need to know ahead of the event.
This year’s main theme is Maserati, with the Italian marque taking centre stage as Goodwood celebrates 100 years since its first major Targa Florio success in 1926. The event will embrace an Italian flavour throughout, with ‘La Dolce Vita’ inspiring celebrations across the site.
A collection of significant Maseratis will be on display around the paddocks, while a number of the marque’s famous cars will also take to the track across the weekend.
Races
There will be plenty of on-track action across the weekend, with 15 races taking place across the three days. Here is a quick summary of what to expect:
- RAC TT Celebration – the headline race of the weekend, featuring 1958–64 GT cars including Jaguar E-types, Ferrari 250s, Aston Martins and Cobras.
- Stirling Moss Memorial Trophy – a race for historic sportscars celebrating the career of one of Goodwood’s most famous names.
- St Mary’s Trophy – 1960s saloon cars, with Jenson Button among the drivers competing in a Ford-Lotus Cortina.
- Brooklands Trophy – pre-war and vintage sportscars from the 1920s and 1930s.
- Glover Trophy – 1960s Grand Prix cars from the golden era of Formula 1.
- Sussex Trophy – 1950s sportscars, including the famous Lister-Jaguar ‘Flat Iron’ being shared by Tom Kristensen and James Thorpe.
- Chichester Cup – historic Formula Junior cars.
- Lavant Cup – 1950s Ferrari and Maserati sportscars, creating a Battle of Modena between the two famous Italian marques.
- Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy – historic motorcycles, with a special celebration of Sheene’s career taking place during the weekend.
- Freddie March Memorial Trophy – 1950s sportscars.
- Richmond & Gordon Trophies – historic Grand Prix cars from the 1950s and early 1960s, including Maserati 250Fs.
- Goodwood Trophy – pre-war Grand Prix cars and voiturettes.
The 2026 programme has also been changed, with more racing on Friday and the RAC TT Celebration moving to the final race of the weekend on Sunday.
Who to expect this year
Goodwood Revival always brings big names, from the ever-present Jenson Button to six-time IndyCar champion Scott Dixon.
In the single-seater world, Jacques Villeneuve, Sir Jackie Stewart, John Watson, Karun Chandhok, Max Chilton and Antonio Felix da Costa are among the well-known names attending this year’s Revival.
From IndyCar and American motorsport, expect to see Dario Franchitti, Scott Dixon, Hélio Castroneves and seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson at Goodwood Motor Circuit.
There are also plenty of sportscar and touring car names on the entry list, including nine-time Le Mans winner Tom Kristensen, three-time Le Mans winner André Lotterer, Tom Chilton, Darren Turner, Gordon Shedden, Tom Ingram and Colin Turkington.

What else can you expect?
Off the race track, spectators can enjoy an array of activities, with a vintage funfair, Revival Cinema, live music, food and drink, the Revival Car Show and plenty more on offer throughout the weekend.
A recreation of the Earls Court Motor Show is also back, featuring all three Ford GT40 Mk IIs that finished 1-2-3 at the 1966 Le Mans 24 Hours. Alpine, BMW, MINI and JLR are also among the manufacturers displaying cars at this year’s event.
The Italian theme will continue away from the circuit too, with ‘La Dolce Vita’ taking over areas of the event, while the Revival Style Stage will celebrate 1960s fashion and Italian design.
